Release notes

LitPage 0.7.0 adds a complete journey from a published product page to a customer inquiry in your site inbox. It is designed for businesses that want to present products, explain their value and collect questions before a sale.

Product pages built from editable blocks

Create a product with an image gallery, descriptive image text, brand and model, specifications and authored details. ProductOverview and ProductDetails use the saved product information, so the page stays editable in the Builder. Configure the layout, preview your changes and publish when the page is ready.

A native inquiry form connected to your product

Generate an inquiry page using PageHeader, InquiryProductSummary and CustomerForm. Review the fields and information-use notice, publish the inquiry page, then connect and publish the product. Visitors can follow the product's inquiry link, confirm what they are asking about and send their contact details and question.

The Form submissions inbox keeps the product title, URL, language and published version from the time of submission. Later product edits do not rewrite that history. Existing customer forms and waitlists continue to work.

Clearer submission and recovery states

The form confirms success only after the response has been received. Submission errors preserve the visitor's input, and retrying a lost response does not create another inquiry. Missing, outdated or invalid product links are rejected with a recovery message instead of silently losing the product context.

Search-friendly product content

Product pages include authored SEO titles and descriptions, canonical URLs, sharing images and Product structured data based on the information you provide. Published product URLs appear in the sitemap. Context-dependent inquiry pages are excluded from the sitemap and marked noindex. No prices, stock claims or reviews are invented.

Get started

  1. Enable Products in your site and create a product.
  2. Add images, descriptions and specifications, then review the page blocks and SEO.
  3. Create and publish an inquiry page from Product inquiries.
  4. Save and publish the product, send a test inquiry, and check Form submissions.

This release supports individual product showcases and inquiries. Product options, catalog discovery, cart, checkout and automatic email notifications are not included. Please check your site inbox for new messages.

If publishing is blocked because the inquiry destination is still a draft, publish that page first, refresh the inquiry pages in the product editor, and publish the product again.
