A landing page needs a clear next step. For a new project, that might be joining a waitlist. For a service business, it might be sending a question. LitPage 0.6.9 connects those actions to the pages you build, with native forms, editable starter templates, and improvements across editing and publishing.
Here is what you can use today.
Collect responses directly in LitPage
The new Waitlist and CustomerForm blocks let you collect responses from a published page and review them in your site's Form submissions inbox.
Use Waitlist for email sign-ups ahead of a launch. Use CustomerForm when you need a contact inquiry or a few details about what a visitor is looking for. Configure the fields, explain how the information will be used, and choose the confirmation message your visitors see.
Forms start with collection disabled. Enable the form when its fields and copy are ready, then save and publish the page. Editing and previewing a form do not collect real submissions.
Visitors get feedback for missing or invalid information, and a failed request keeps their input available for another attempt. The submission flow also handles retries so that the same request does not create duplicate entries. Form collection and inbox review are built in; email campaigns and CRM follow-up remain separate workflows.
Start with a page you can change
Builder now includes starter templates for four common projects:
- A SaaS product launch
- A waitlist
- A service consultation
- A portfolio
The starting points are available in English and Simplified Chinese. Choosing a template creates a draft in your selected site. You can then edit its text, images, links, and blocks through the normal page editor before publishing.
The template provides a structure to work from. Your site's shared navigation stays with your site, and a template's form remains disabled until you configure and enable it.
For teams presenting their own templates, the new template gallery and showcase blocks support screenshots, descriptions, and a preview container with desktop and mobile views. You can place useful information about the template outside the preview: who it is for, how the page is organized, and what to customize. Visitors can also open a full preview for a closer look.
Keep navigation consistent across your pages
Shared headers and footers give important links a consistent home. Use them for your main pages, contact information, and policies, and publish shared-layout changes through the editor.
This release improves mobile menu behavior and keyboard interaction across the header variants. Menus close after navigation, and closed mobile menus no longer leave their hidden links in the keyboard path. Header and footer controls also received attention to touch targets and focus visibility.
For multilingual landing pages, you can maintain language-specific shared layouts. An update to the Chinese navigation does not need to replace the English navigation.
Review changes before they go live
Draft previews and published pages have distinct roles. Preview the page you are editing, check its links and layout, and publish when it is ready. Your existing published content stays separate from draft edits.
We also refined several parts of that daily workflow:
- Optional block links can be cleared without adding a placeholder URL.
- A canonical URL override can be cleared so the page uses its normal public address.
- Image selection shows a visible error when a file is not supported, and a valid retry clears that error.
- Signing out updates the displayed session consistently across the site and workspace.
- Terms and Privacy links are available from the sign-in and registration pages.
Published metadata and content history received additional validation during this release. Cover images on the LitPage blog have also been restored and checked on desktop and mobile.
Try the complete journey
Start with one page and one action:
- Choose a starter template or open a page you already have.
- Add a Waitlist or CustomerForm block, configure its fields and confirmation copy, and enable collection.
- Preview the page, check the mobile layout, and publish it.
- Make a test submission from the public page, then confirm it appears in Form submissions.
